Day 3 of resting the old lady hip and my morning comprised of coffee, toast and my beautiful daughter snap chatting me a really stunning picture of herself.
Oh my beautiful Amy, she’s my middle child and a twin to her womb buddy Marie.
Now then. Amy has curly hair. Very curly hair and all her life has had to tackle it daily to keep it under control.
As a young teen she kept it long and natural…
Then she turned 15 and had it all chopped off 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Amy always does her hair before bed, she has so much of it that those straighteners are her best friend.
Now as a young lady, living in her own flat, working hard to support herself and also at Uni in Leicester she still has those hair days that she knows will make her mumma laugh….. cue today’s snap chat
I do now feel I need to show Amy not looking like she’s been pulled through a hedge backwards… Cue one of mumma’s favourite pictures taken at her womb buddy’s hen weekend
Day 2 of no running and I’m getting a little antsy at not actually doing anything. I feel tired, lazy and slightly more chubby. I know it’s all in my head because at chub club tonight I’m actually 1.5lb lighter than this time last week.
Tomorrow I will try and get up nice and early and drive to the gym for some rowing action and if the room is open a cheeky half hour on the spinner with my headphones in.
I will also make more of an effort on the blog. This one clearly mirrors my mood at the moment.
I’m seriously hoping that having these 3 days of no impact on the old lady hip is enough to be able to do Parkrun saturday or at least be able to go out Sunday without my hip throbbing following Saturday’s run
Today’s activity was the good old plank.
Janathon total: same as yesterday plus some planking action
